I prefer preserves (it has chunks of the fruit in it) jam is smooth and jelly jiggles.

There is a dessert I make that is really good. You put a package of dry jello (I use orange or strawberry usually) a container of cottage cheese, and a container of coolwhip. You mix it all together and then add mandarine oranges if you use oranges or strawberries if you use strawberry. It's delicious!

Make sure you let me know when you try the recipe. It is SO good!!

COOL WHIP JELLO SALAD 1 lg. (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1 sm. box orange Jello
1 can mandarin oranges, drained and cut up
1 lg. cottage cheese

The online recipe I found also suggested a can of crushed pineapple and 1 cup of chopped pecans. I have never had it that way. Try at least a bite my way before adding those last two ingredients if you are going to. (I never cut up the mandarine oranges either. I just pour the can in. They are already small.)

Oh yeah ... !!! I'll add those items to our list when we do our next big shopping run .... I'll pick up the pineapple and peacans for a separate treat!
