lol I always wondered that too. They're so cute but I've heard they can be rather nasty. Speaking of Kangroos -- Kangaroo Jack was hilarious I thought anyway even though no one else seemed to like it.

I liked it too Dan and I thought it was just me. Hey we can start a Kangaroo Jack fanclub (just the two of us in it then!)

I've been doing some research on this on the net and I found this great BBC video. It shows some of the kangaroos boxing.

We watched a show on tv awhile back (can't remember the name), with a guy (trainer) who brought his kangaroo on the show. The kangaroo was ok for awhile, but then attacked its owner! He got hurt pretty good, but survived.

We watched the video and my son was falling about laughing at the kangaroos boxing, but they look pretty dangerous to me. Its cheating too when they kick, you're not allowed to kick in boxing. hasnt anyone explained the rules to the kangaroos

They are very cute (Koala's) but they STINK!! OMG! Like the worst pee smell mixed with vick's Vapo-Rub! I "cuddled" with one at a Sanctuary in Australia, I was was like EW! Get this thing off me! Kangaroos/Wallaby's on the other hand, are freaking awesome! I got to interact with them as they roamed around free, some of them taller than me. It is so cool to see a mom with her little Joey in the pouch, I watched and played with them all day long! It was the highlight of my trip Down Under!

Edited to add- yes, they can kick your ass!! The tails are really big and strong and they can be vicious!

I think they're cuddly in the Lone Pine Sanctuary where you get photos taken with them, but I wouldn't want to pick one up out in the wild.
