|  Ipad Just watched the video at the Apple website on this new product. Looks pretty awesome. What do you think Dan/Ray? Any ideas on pricing?

   | Re: Ipad The base model is $499 (USD). With more storage coming in a little higher and models with 3G capabilities (cellular data connections) about $100 more. It looks cool but it's essentially a giant iPod touch without the portability aspect. I'm not really sure where it fits it does most of what a laptop does but not all. Without flash support you cannot view many video sites nor play many online games. I can see it being useful for say 1 on 1 presentations and maybe for taking notes in class but that's about it from my prospective. |

| Re: Ipad Ok thanks Dan ... I knew you would have an idea. It just looks so impressive in the video, but I can see what you mean ... I was thinking how awkward it would be to sit with it in your lap with your legs to support it - or you would have to sit at a table ... I could see it being something the kids would love, but it's an expensive outlay when they already have an ipod touch.
