How much TV do you watch?

I don't watch anything on tv regularly. My youngest boy loves to watch educational programs, like the History Channel, or Discovery Channel.

Sometimes I'll watch something with him.

However, I just can't sit in front of the tv very long, usually don't finish watching anything. I have too many other things to do, like posting here at Discuss NY!

Or on several other forums.

I prefer to do other things. I used to be addicted to tv though, and sometimes would watch the one-eyed monster for many hours a day, everyday! Not anymore. My tv addiction is cured!

It's to pay for the (supposed) privilege of receiving quality? BBC programmes, which is a bit of a contradiction in terms - but there ya go!

BBC radio programming isn't too bad to be honest, but most of the television offerings, especially on a weekend, are low key at best.

Fat cats getting fatter on the back of everyone else's contributions.....if they were paid exactly what they were worth, they'd end up oweing us!

I'm pretty sure after a few months of consistent exposere to the repetative jawboning of this new found toy I'll be throwing a blanket over the frame & removing the batteries from the remote

Thankfully it's never ruled my life. Though I can see how easily some folks can become addicted to it.....I'm a sucker for a good drama & love my sports, apart from that I can take it or leave it.

Bloomberg, CNBC type shows popowich?
I have them on at various parts of the day as part of my work tasks.

One or two pretty faces flit in & out of the U.S segment of those shows on occasion too.......makes the viewing a little less arduous

I got 2 actually.
I trade foreign currencies for a mid sized tranche of speculative capital on a sub-contract basis.
Basically, when they need another body to cover a specific event or busy period, they dial me into their platform & away I go.

When I’m not doing battle in that arena, I manage a property portfolio for a group of investors/business suits.

Hence the sporadic need to eyeball the financial world & it’s often unfathomable antics.

in ireland i watch soaps at six oclock in the evening up to nine every week im addicted to the soaps.
